Context

We run a retail investing app for self-directed investors, offering share dealing and tax-advantaged accounts through mobile and web.

Industry: Fintech · Wealth & Investing
Size: 200–1000 employees
Region: Europe
Tools budget: $5K–20K per month
Needs: Test automation & QA. Our mobile and backend releases need stronger automated testing so trading features ship quickly without regressions.
Today: a quality team extending end-to-end web and mobile suites inside the release pipeline · Urgency: now
Cloud security posture. We run fully on a public cloud and want continuous visibility into misconfigurations before regulators or attackers find them.
Today: platform engineers relying on cloud-provider defaults with ad hoc reviews · Urgency: later
Who decides: vp engineering · team trial
Expects from suppliers: Works with our existing cloud and pipeline setup; Pricing that scales sensibly with team size
Not a fit: On-premise only products; Heavy consulting-led rollouts
Stack: cloud: GCP-class hyperscaler, CI/CD pipeline in place, ticketing / issue tracker
Buying triggers: scaling transaction volume, rapid team growth

We train and serve our own language models, and compute is one of our biggest cost lines. Today we struggle to see spend per workload, so trimming it is guesswork. A good solution must show cost per workload, run on premises or in sovereign clouds, work without permanent internet access, avoid large minimum commitments, and fit a small monthly budget.
